Introducing BDC original diatomite coasters! With these coasters, you can enjoy your favorite drinks even more! Super absorption, Non-slip, Heat resistant and Eco friendly. Diatomite quickly soaks up water droplets on the glass, keeps the table and countertop surface dry. Diatomite coasters are made of pottery; therefore, the color won’t fade. They are simply made by diatomaceous earth without corks on the back, so it is amazingly easy to maintenance. This item is both functional and stylish.

BDC is based in Gifu prefecture which is known for Mino ware and being the biggest pottery and porcelain production district in Japan. Mino ware has its roots in Heian period (794-1185). It has been appreciated by Japanese for a long time. These coasters are baked in traditional Mino ware pottery using diatomaceous earth from Hokkaido. These special coasters are sold for a limited number. You may find some uneven baking spots on Diatomite coasters; it occurs because they are pottery. I hope you enjoy the different characters of each coaster. Coasters will be protected in bubble wraps upon shipping.

・To get stains off, use chlorine bleach, rinse well with water, place the coaster vertical and dry completely. Leaving coasters undried may cause mold. The color and design on the coaster won’t fade off by chlorine bleach. There are two designs for Diatomite coasters.
